The City of Aschaffenburg is seeking an Information Security Officer to join its Office for Digitalization, Organization, and IT. In this role, you will be responsible for initiating, guiding, monitoring, and controlling IT security processes, including documentation and reporting. Key responsibilities involve planning and implementing security policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with information security standards, contributing to the development of organizational and technical security concepts (IT-Grundschutz), and continuously monitoring the IT infrastructure for vulnerabilities and risks. You will also conduct security audits, penetration tests, and vulnerability analyses, as well as monitor and analyze security incidents to identify threats and initiate appropriate countermeasures.
