Job Summary

This PhD position at the University Hospital Bonn (UKB) offers a highly motivated candidate the opportunity to join the Brägelmann lab, focusing on groundbreaking cancer immunology research. The role involves investigating how modifying cell death pathways after cancer treatment impacts tumor-immune interactions in lung and squamous cell cancers, aiming to identify novel combination therapies. Day-to-day tasks will include working with human samples, in vitro and in vivo models, applying classical molecular biology and immunological methods, and utilizing cutting-edge technologies like imaging flow cytometry and single-cell sequencing. The ideal candidate will possess a Master’s degree in life sciences, a strong scientific background in immunology, molecular, and cell biology, practical experience in lab techniques, and good English skills.
