Job Summary

As a Sensor Analysis Engineer, you will be instrumental in supporting development and quality assurance by conducting intricate physical analyses on electronic components. Your daily tasks will involve planning, coordinating, and executing complex analyses and preparations, utilizing advanced analytical techniques such as ultrasonic microscopy, scanning electron microscopy, and infrared microscopy to identify weaknesses. You will develop failure hypotheses, define analysis strategies for fault isolation, and meticulously document your findings. Additionally, you will be responsible for evaluating new sample statuses in component development and manufacturing. This role offers the opportunity to continuously develop your expertise within a dynamic engineering environment, contributing to innovative solutions across various industries.

Required Skills

Education

Degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Microsystems Technology, or comparable field

Experience

  • Professional experience in physical analysis of electronic components
  • Knowledge in analytical methods (e.g., light microscopy, X-ray, IR microscopy, SAM, REM, EDX, electrical measurement technology) is desirable
  • Product and process knowledge in electronic components, especially in sensor technology (pressure, inertial sensors) is advantageous
  • Knowledge in assembly and connection technology, technology, and function of electronic components is desired
