This role involves maintaining and repairing the public sewage system, including cleaning and servicing the extensive canalization network, pumping stations, grease separators, street drains, and property connections. The technician will perform tasks manually, by entering the sewage system, or using specialized vehicles. Key responsibilities also include assisting with facility inspections, potentially using a hand camera, and ensuring vehicle and material maintenance. The ideal candidate will have a background in environmental technology or a related skilled trade, be prepared for work in highly contaminated areas and outside regular hours, and possess strong physical fitness.
