Job Summary
This role is for a dedicated Team Leader in Collections Management within the public service sector, focusing on the administration and coordination of debt collection for the Municipality of Lindlar and associated entities. The successful candidate will lead a team of enforcement officers, manage the dunning and enforcement processes for both private and public law claims, and handle advanced case processing for complex enforcement procedures, including real estate and movable assets. Key responsibilities also include making critical decisions on enforcement measures, installment agreements, and debt deferrals or write-offs. The position requires strong legal knowledge in enforcement and insolvency law, financial acumen, and proficiency in relevant IT systems, offering a stable and responsible role with opportunities for professional development.
Required Skills
Education
• Qualification for career group 2, 1st entry-level (formerly higher service) of non-technical administrative service OR • Completed degree as Dipl. Verwaltungswirt/-in (FH), Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) Municipal Administrative Service - General Administration, Dipl. Verwaltungsbetriebswirt/-in, Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) Municipal Administrative Service - Administrative Business Administration OR • Successfully completed training as Verwaltungsfachwirt/in (Administrative Course II) OR • Completed vocational training as Verwaltungsfachangestellte/r or successfully completed Administrative Course I, with at least EG 9a classification and several years of professional experience in this area, along with the willingness to complete Administrative Course II as soon as possible.
Experience
- Professional experience in collections management, particularly in enforcement and insolvency law
- Experience with complex enforcement procedures (real estate, movable assets)
- Experience in leading or coordinating teams is implied by the title and responsibilities
