This role involves conducting acceptance tests for pressure equipment and pipeline manufacturers, primarily in Eastern Austria. The successful candidate will assess the integration of pressure equipment into existing systems, collaborating with plant safety teams. Key responsibilities also include monitoring operational pressure equipment, performing damage analyses, and evaluating repair proposals in conjunction with design review. A significant part of the role involves the examination and certification of welding personnel and procedures, followed by independent client support after an initial training period. Required Skills

Education

University degree (Technical University, University of Applied Sciences) or HTL (Higher Technical Institute) with relevant experience in metallurgy/materials testing or mechanical engineering; IWE (International Welding Engineer) or EWE (European Welding Engineer) knowledge

Experience

  • Relevant professional experience is an advantage
  • Experience as an Auditor is desirable
