Job Summary
The Municipality of Sonsbeck is seeking an IT Specialist with a focus on Windows client systems, Linux administration, and open-source solutions to join their "Personnel and School" department. This role is crucial for advancing the municipality's digitalization efforts and expanding its future-proof IT landscape. The successful candidate will be responsible for administering and maintaining Windows and Linux server infrastructure, configuring open-source solutions, managing cloud environments, and supporting Windows client systems. Key responsibilities also include ensuring IT security, contributing to digitalization projects, providing first-level support, and collaborating with external IT service providers. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist (System Integration) or comparable qualification with an IT focus
Experience
- Professional experience in Windows and Linux system administration
- Experience with Active Directory
- Experience in installing and administering open-source software solutions
- Experience in administering cloud environments
- Experience in Windows client administration
- Experience in IT security and data protection
- Experience with HCL Notes (Mail and Groupware system)
Languages
Additional
- Class B driving license and willingness to use private car for business trips if needed. Flexibility to perform updates or maintenance outside regular service hours. Willingness to continuously learn new technologies and participate in further training.
