Job Summary
The IT Systems Specialist will be responsible for the planning, configuration, implementation, migration, development, and maintenance of the IT infrastructure and its components, including servers, storage systems, and various networks within the presidential area. Key duties involve administering and planning virtualization environments (VMware and HyperV), proactive monitoring and troubleshooting, and managing hardware deployment and needs analysis. This role also includes administering Windows servers, Active Directory, and Exchange, providing project support, ensuring IT security, and offering IT-related consultation and support to various organizational units. The specialist will serve as a second-level support interface, resolving issues or escalating them to specialized teams, and will participate in on-call duties outside regular working hours. This position offers a dynamic team environment, flexible working hours, and the option for remote work after an initial onboarding period, contributing to a meaningful role within a state police authority.
Required Skills
Education
Completed MINT (Mathematics, Informatics, Natural Sciences, Technology) degree or equivalent qualification according to DQR Level 6
Experience
- • Experience in error analysis and troubleshooting, ideally in Second or Third Level Support

- Must possess a Class B driving license; Mandatory security clearance (Ü2) as per LSÜG regulations; Willingness to participate in weekly on-call duties outside regular working hours, including weekends and holidays.
