Job Summary

The IT Service Center is seeking an engaged License Manager to oversee and optimize the organization's software license portfolio. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring and documenting software contracts, ensuring compliance with license agreements, and conducting true-ups and audits with software vendors. A key part of your day-to-day will involve managing and optimizing the software license portfolio, negotiating license models, and providing internal consultation on licensing requirements. You will also generate reports and analyses on asset inventories, lifecycles, and license costs, and contribute to budget planning for license needs. This position requires a proactive, solution-oriented approach and strong communication skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a background in IT or business informatics and initial experience in software asset and license management.

Required Skills

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Business Informatics, or completed vocational training as an IT Specialist with several years of relevant professional experience.

Experience

  • Initial experience in Software Asset Management and/or License Management
  • Professional experience in the advertised activity (if holding a vocational degree)
