Job Summary

This role is for an IT-savvy and service-oriented Junior Service Technician or Application Administrator in Bonn, Germany, supporting a public sector project. The successful candidate will join an experienced team responsible for the smooth operation and support of IT workstations and applications, both remotely and on-site. Day-to-day tasks include providing 1st and 2nd level telephone support for Windows and Microsoft environments, managing Windows workstations including MS Office and Exchange, and troubleshooting issues related to login, network connections, and printing services. The position also involves user administration in Active Directory, setting up meeting technology, and assisting with hardware relocations and inventory. This is a full-time, permanent position with no travel or on-call duty, offering a modern IT environment and diverse tasks.

Completed vocational training in IT

Experience

  • At least 3 years of professional experience in the IT sector
  • Proficient in Windows 10 and Microsoft Office
  • Good knowledge of Active Directory and Exchange environments
  • Experience with network fundamentals and Citrix user support
