Job Summary
This role is for an experienced Java Developer to join a leading digitalization company in Nuremberg, focusing on Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for the ongoing maintenance and enhancement of Java-based software solutions, including building and managing logging and monitoring systems using tools like Grafana Cloud and Splunk. Key responsibilities also involve optimizing SQL queries, managing DB2 databases, and troubleshooting system errors and performance issues. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Java development, particularly in quality assurance or monitoring, coupled with excellent analytical and communication skills to contribute to projects and IT process optimization.
Required Skills
Education
Degree in (Business) Informatics or comparable qualification; alternatively, IT-related vocational training with relevant professional experience
Experience
- Professional experience in Java development, ideally in quality assurance or monitoring
- Professional experience with complex database structures (SQL, DB2)
- Practical experience with logging and monitoring tools (Grafana Cloud, Splunk)
- Experience with GitHub and CI/CD pipelines
