Job Summary
This role involves defining and architecting the software foundation for critical simulation control stations, instructor operating stations, and flight training debriefing stations for Airbus Defence and Space. The successful candidate will design intuitive user interfaces using a custom GUI framework based on Qt/QML, maintain the overall technical architecture, and develop, test, and debug software following best practices. A key aspect of the role is to identify and mitigate technical risks, participate in agile development meetings, and mentor junior engineers in Qt/QML. Required Skills
Education
Completed studies in Computer Science or a comparable qualification
Experience
- Professional experience in software development with a focus on frontend/UI applications

- Experience with modern DevOps pipelines, containerization, and agile software development methodologies
