The City Administration of Ostfildern is seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to lead its newly established Central Procurement Office. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for setting up and managing the department, overseeing the preparation and execution of tenders and awards across various city departments, including the urban development and utility companies. You will also provide crucial support and advice to specialist departments and drive the advancement of e-procurement initiatives. This position requires strong legal expertise in procurement law, excellent communication skills, and a high degree of responsibility and self-reliance. Required Skills
Education
Bachelor of Arts in Public Management or comparable degree, or certified Administrative Specialist (Verwaltungsfachwirt:in), or a degree in Civil Engineering (Architecture or Engineering) or comparable qualification.
