Job Summary
This role is for an EHS Specialist who will be instrumental in developing and maintaining the company's Environmental, Health, and Safety management system. The successful candidate will advise and support leadership and employees on all EHS matters, acting as the primary contact for authorities and the corporate EHS team. Key responsibilities include conducting safety inspections and internal audits, developing and implementing EHS training programs, monitoring legal regulations, and preparing risk assessments. This position offers an excellent opportunity for both experienced professionals and motivated entry-level candidates with a background in chemistry or environmental engineering to contribute to a safe and compliant work environment within a chemical production setting.
Required Skills
Education
University degree (Bachelor or Master) in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or comparable qualification. Completed training as a Safety Engineer or Occupational Safety Specialist ("SiFa") is advantageous.
Experience
- Professional experience in chemical production (advantageous)
- Professional experience in operational and process safety (advantageous)
