Job Summary

Join a dedicated team at the Lindau District Office as an Environmental Protection Engineer, focusing on technical environmental protection. This role involves active participation in approval procedures under federal immission control and waste laws, as well as construction law. You will conduct regular and ad-hoc facility monitoring, including on-site inspections and plausibility checks of reports. Key responsibilities also include addressing technical inquiries related to air pollution control, noise protection, plant safety, and waste management, providing expert advice to citizens and plant operators, and handling complaints. The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Technical Environmental Protection or a related field, excellent communication skills, and a service-oriented approach. This is a temporary full-time position, initially part-time, offering a diverse and engaging work environment.

Education

University of Applied Sciences degree (Dipl.-Ing. (FH)) or Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) or Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Technical Environmental Protection, Environmental Technology, or comparable fields with environmental protection content (e.g., Environmental Protection - Soil and Water, Physical Technology, General or Technical Chemistry, Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Technical Environmental Protection)

Experience
