This role is for a dedicated Civil Engineer to contribute to the development and maintenance of urban infrastructure in Osterholz-Scharmbeck, a modern district town north of Bremen. The successful candidate will be responsible for the full lifecycle of public traffic areas (roads, bridges, cycle paths, pedestrian paths, street lighting), sports facilities, and water management systems. Key responsibilities include planning, design, tendering, awarding contracts, construction supervision, and maintenance. The position also involves managing a digital road management system, developing infrastructure concepts, supporting traffic development plans, and preparing grant applications. Required Skills
Education
Completed degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in civil engineering (e.g., road construction, hydraulic engineering) or a comparable technical degree with relevance to civil engineering (e.g., traffic engineering, geosciences, or geotechnics).
