Job Summary
The Landkreis Rotenburg (Wümme) is seeking a Head of E-Government Department to lead a team of five within the Digitalization and IT Office. This role involves the conceptual and personnel leadership of the e-government team, driving the strategic development of digital administration, and designing solutions for efficient digital services. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing digitalization projects in line with the district's strategy, with a focus on fostering a positive organizational culture and internal communication. This position requires strong leadership, project management skills, and the ability to transform the department into a modern, customer-oriented service provider, while effectively communicating and mediating with various stakeholders.
Required Skills
Education
Bachelor's degree in Business Informatics, Applied Computer Science, or Administrative Sciences with a focus on e-Government
Experience
- Professional experience in e-government or related digitalization topics
- Several years of relevant professional experience in public administration or the private sector, ideally with experience in change management related to digitalization
- Practical experience in project management of large, interdisciplinary project teams
- Leadership experience, fostering independent work and supporting team members
