Job Summary
As a Service Technician for a leading railway vehicle manufacturer, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems on rail vehicles. Your day-to-day will involve diagnosing and troubleshooting issues, performing repairs, and meticulously documenting all work, adhering to industry regulations. While based primarily in Brandenburg an der Havel, this role offers the dynamic experience of approximately 20 weeks per year of nationwide field service across Germany. After an initial training period, you'll join a 24/7 on-call team, addressing unplanned repair needs. This position is ideal for a skilled professional with a background in mechanics, electrics, or mechatronics, who enjoys both teamwork and independent problem-solving in a varied environment.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as a Mechanic, Mechatronics Technician, Electrician, or Electronics Technician
Experience
- Professional experience in maintenance and repair of rail vehicles OR in automotive, agricultural machinery, or plant engineering
- Experience working with technical drawings, assembly, and circuit diagrams

- Willingness to travel for approximately 20 weeks per year within Germany; Willingness to participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation after training.
