Job Summary

The University of Rostock is seeking a Technical Assistant for a two-year, full-time project focused on developing and implementing protection concepts for non-commercial fish fauna in the German Exclusive Economic Zone. This role involves crucial support for marine research, including preparing and executing sea voyages and field work, collecting samples at sea (including diving), and processing samples in the lab (eDNA and zooplankton). The successful candidate will also be responsible for maintaining technical equipment and managing inventory.
