Job Summary

This role involves developing and planning high and medium voltage systems, including switchgear, transformers, busbars, disconnectors, and station automation systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications. The engineer will create detailed technical specifications, collaborate with suppliers for quality assurance, and conduct various studies (load flow, short circuit, thermal) to optimize system performance. A key aspect is ensuring adherence to national and international standards (IEC, VDE, IEEE) and legal regulations. As a Lead Engineer within the EMSR team, the professional will interface with project management and other disciplines, coordinate subcontractors, and support Factory and Site Acceptance Tests. The position also requires identifying and mitigating installation risks, creating comprehensive documentation, and providing expert support to sales and business development. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical or Energy Engineering, at least five years of experience in primary substation technology, and strong knowledge of network analysis and CAD software. Excellent German language skills and a Class B driving license are essential.
