This role involves the independent maintenance and operation of electrical systems within the German Bundestag's building services. Education

Completed vocational training as an Electrician specializing in Energy and Building Technology, Electrical Installer, or equivalent qualification. For civil servants: Middle technical service.

Experience

  • Several years of experience in comparable activities or in the execution of demanding electrical installation and maintenance work
  • Experience in the operation of control systems and BUS systems
  • Knowledge and professional experience with the operation and maintenance of medium and low voltage, safety lighting, emergency power, photovoltaic, and lightning protection systems

  • Must possess or be willing to acquire switching authorization up to 30 kV. Must be fit for work at heights up to 30m and for driving, control, and monitoring activities. Willingness to acquire first aid and fire protection helper training if not already possessed. Willingness to undergo a security clearance.
