Job Summary
This role is for a dedicated Technician or Master Craftsman who will be instrumental in shaping the future of energy supply in Salzgitter and the surrounding region. The successful candidate will plan, coordinate, and implement critical infrastructure projects across electricity, gas, water, and district heating networks, overseeing them from inception to successful completion. Key responsibilities include managing project costs, budgets, and billing, as well as serving as the central point of contact for construction supervision and coordination, ensuring quality control and final acceptance. This position is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills, a proactive mindset, and a desire to contribute to the energy transition, offering the chance to work with various stakeholders and drive sustainable solutions.
Required Skills
Education
Completed advanced training as a Technician or Master Craftsman in a relevant field (e.g., Supply Technology, Electrical Engineering, Network Operation)
Experience
- Professional experience in planning, coordinating, and realizing infrastructure projects
- Experience in cost, budget, and billing oversight and contract controlling
- Experience in construction supervision and coordination for network construction projects, including acceptance, measurement, and quality control
- Experience in initiating and accompanying permit procedures
- Experience in communication with authorities, municipalities, customers, and service providers
- Experience in project documentation and handover to network teams
- Initial experience in the construction and operation of supply networks (gas, water, electricity) is beneficial
