Job Summary

Join Germany's largest infrastructure operator, Autobahn GmbH, as a Telecommunications Technician specializing in cable infrastructure. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of copper and fiber optic long-distance cable systems, including emergency call facilities along the Autobahn. Required Skills

Education

State-certified Technician in Telecommunications, System Technology, or Electrical Engineering, or comparable qualifications and experience

Experience

  • Professional experience as a skilled worker in telecommunications, system technology, or electrical engineering
  • Experience in the operation, installation, and repair of near and far LWL (fiber optic) components
  • Experience in construction supervision
  • Desirable: Expertise in the installation of paper-insulated long-distance communication cables with metal sheathing and corresponding fittings
