Job Summary
This role involves leading a team responsible for the safe operation of protection devices within the overall network systems and in the protection technology laboratory. The Team Lead will coordinate and optimize work processes, support the introduction of new protection devices through documentation and training, and collaborate closely with other secondary technology and procurement groups. Key responsibilities include evaluating and coordinating the resolution of device malfunctions, conducting fault analyses, and testing protection devices after incidents or new acquisitions. The position also requires creating requirement catalogs, conducting tenders for new protection and auxiliary devices, and ensuring compliance with occupational safety and organizational processes, including employee training. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced electrical or energy engineer with leadership aspirations to contribute to the secure operation of Hamburg's energy grid.
Required Skills
Education
University or technical college degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Technology, or a comparable field
Experience
- Professional experience in protection technology
- Project experience in transmission or distribution networks of energy supply
- Initial leadership experience (desirable)
