Job Summary
This role is for an experienced Project Engineer in Electrical Engineering, focusing on waste treatment and material flow management for Berlin's largest municipal waste management company. The successful candidate will be responsible for the conception, planning, and execution of electrical and control technology projects, including the technical steering and control of planning and construction processes. Key responsibilities also involve defining specifications for low and medium voltage switchgear and electrical components, reviewing circuit diagrams, and ensuring quality control of functional descriptions. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to Berlin's sustainable future by working on modernizing existing plants and developing new recycling, sorting, and bioenergy facilities, promoting energy efficiency and climate protection.
Required Skills
Education
University degree (FH-Diplom/Bachelor) in Engineering, specializing in Electrical Engineering or Automation Technology.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in a comparable role within industrial plant construction/maintenance in electrical engineering, automation, control technology, or medium and low voltage energy supply.
- Several years of professional experience in planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects in the mentioned fields, with a focus on building in existing structures/ongoing operations.
