Job Summary

This role involves managing and overseeing configuration activities for combat aircraft within the Eurofighter FJT System & SW CM area. The Configuration Manager will be responsible for the lifecycle of change requests and problem reports, including their preparation, execution, and reporting through Change Control Boards. Key responsibilities also include supporting project managers by monitoring development milestones, administering user accounts in various tools, and managing daily FCS CM operations. The ideal candidate will have a background in computer science or a related field, with at least two years of experience in engineering and project management. Strong knowledge of configuration management, status accounting, and change management is essential, alongside experience with relational databases and scripting languages. This position offers the opportunity to work with Airbus in Manching, contributing to innovative aerospace projects.
