Job Summary

This role is for a Materials and Process Engineer, working on behalf of BMW AG, focusing on the analysis and characterization of battery cell materials. The successful candidate will be responsible for applying various material science and mechanical analysis techniques, including mechanical-technological tests, microscopic techniques, chemical-physical methods, and powder analysis. A key part of the role involves maintaining measurement devices and coordinating with service providers for maintenance and calibration. Additionally, the engineer will support the advancement of analytical methods for evaluating materials and components, as well as assisting with production-related analysis of semi-finished products and Li-ion cells across laboratory, technical center, and prototype scales.
