Job Summary
This role involves ensuring the smooth operation of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) for Hamburg's urban network operator, a key player in the city's energy supply. The successful candidate will provide first-level support to internal and external GIS users, acting as the crucial link between users and the IT department. Key responsibilities include GIS system administration, conducting user training, and developing comprehensive manuals. Furthermore, the role requires collaborating with specialist departments to develop new GIS-related workflows, performing data queries and analyses, and conducting quality assurance with error analysis. Ideal candidates will possess a background in electrical engineering or information technology, coupled with significant professional experience, strong IT affinity, and a solid understanding of GIS and database systems. Experience or interest in the energy sector is a plus, alongside excellent teamwork and communication skills.

Completed advanced training as a Master (Meister) or Technician (Techniker) or higher in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or a comparable field.
