Job Summary

This role offers an exciting opportunity to join Symbios, a global leader in custom orthopedic implants, based at their headquarters in Yverdon-les-Bains. As a Custom Knee Implant Designer, you will be integral to the medical device manufacturing process, focusing specifically on bespoke knee replacements. Your daily tasks will involve highly specialized 3D modeling, including creating patient bone structures from CT scans and performing precise anatomical measurements. A key responsibility is planning the custom implants and designing the surgical cutting guides that ensure surgeons can accurately execute the plan. Candidates should possess a technical background in mechanical design, ideally supplemented by an ES Technician qualification or equivalent. Success requires meticulous attention to detail, strong 3D visualization skills, and the ability to maintain high quality standards while working efficiently. Excellent command of both French and English is mandatory for effective communication within this international medical technology environment.
