Job Summary

This role is for a System Engineer specializing in Electromagnetic Fields (EMF) who will be instrumental in evaluating, analyzing, and defining technical specifications related to EMF across all system levels, from overall systems to sub-systems and components. The successful candidate will systematically identify and integrate relevant customer requirements, international norms, and regulations concerning EMF into the development process. A key aspect of the role involves conceptualizing, developing, and implementing innovative measures to optimize electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and ensure regulatory compliance. The position requires leading and actively participating in interdisciplinary design and development reviews to ensure quality assurance and technical validation of complex system solutions, alongside close collaboration with various departments, partners, and external experts. Required Skills

Education

University or technical college degree (Fachhochschulstudium) with a focus on Communications Technology, High-Frequency Technology, or a related discipline with specialization in Electromagnetic Fields and Waves

Experience

  • Several years of relevant professional experience in electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and electromagnetic fields (EMF) in demanding system or development projects
  • Experience in system development according to the V-Model
  • Experience with military and/or automotive standards and specifications
