Job Summary
The Head of Infrastructural Facility Management will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of infrastructural operations at Zoo Leipzig's 26-hectare site. This includes managing cleaning services, landscaping, waste disposal, security, and uniform management. The role involves significant personnel responsibility, coordinating both internal and external staff, and ensuring efficient deployment. Key responsibilities also include developing concepts, preparing tenders according to VOL/VOB, managing budgets, and continuously improving organizational processes and quality standards with a focus on sustainability and visitor satisfaction. The ideal candidate will be a highly competent professional with proven experience in infrastructural facility management, capable of fostering a motivated team culture and contributing to the zoo's mission as a leading cultural and leisure institution.

Completed university degree (technical field) or equivalent qualification (e.g., Industrial Engineer, Infrastructural Facility Management)
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in infrastructural facility management
- Experience in coordinating service providers
- Proven expertise as a recognized expert in infrastructural facility management within a large medium-sized company
