Job Summary

This role involves designing and developing complex electrical circuits, including high-frequency and high-voltage components, for next-generation mass spectrometers. The engineer will be responsible for the entire product development lifecycle, from initial concept to creating production documentation and ensuring a smooth transition to series production. Key responsibilities include participating in product development teams, performing design verification, calculating costs, and providing technical support to suppliers. This position offers the chance to work in an agile, multinational R&D environment, contributing to cutting-edge scientific instrumentation that helps make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.

Required Skills

Education

University degree in Electrical Engineering or related fields

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience designing analog electronics, preferably including high voltage and/or high frequency electronics
  • Experience in product development practices, processes, and tools, preferably in sophisticated analytical instruments
  • Experience in low volume, high-value large complex systems such as scientific instrumentation, medical devices, or semiconductor process systems is highly preferred
  • Experience in troubleshooting electronic circuits and conducting root cause analysis on PCBA and system level
  • Experience in lateral leadership is desirable
