Job Summary
The City of Bad Staffelstein is seeking a Deputy Head of Building Department to join their team. This full-time, permanent position involves independently managing urban development planning procedures, urban statutes, and integrated urban development concept (ISEK) measures in collaboration with engineering firms. Key responsibilities include drafting urban development contracts, reviewing building projects for planning law compliance, and advising building owners. The role also entails preparing statements for neighboring communities' development plans and regional planning, participating in committee meetings, and supporting the department head on special projects. Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for billing development measures, calculating contributions, and handling objections and legal proceedings related to contribution notices. Required Skills
Education
Civil service qualification for the 3rd qualification level of the administrative and finance career path (non-technical administrative service, general internal administration) OR completed professional examination II for administrative specialists. Alternatively, civil service qualification for the 2nd qualification level with willingness for modular qualification OR administrative specialist VFA-K/administrative employee with BL I with willingness to participate in BL II.
Experience
- Practical experience in building and environmental law, preferably in urban development planning
- Experience with technical matters related to construction and environment
- Professional experience in self-reliant work and cooperative collaboration with external partners
