Job Summary

As an IT System Engineer specializing in Data Center Storage, you will be instrumental in managing and optimizing an enterprise storage infrastructure within a distributed data center environment. Your daily tasks will involve designing, administering, and troubleshooting SAN and NAS solutions, leveraging your expertise in cutting-edge hardware and software. A key aspect of this role is developing automation solutions using scripting and Infrastructure-as-Code frameworks to enhance system performance and streamline operations. You will also be responsible for proactive monitoring, creating comprehensive documentation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of storage systems. Required Skills

Education

Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; or equivalent professional experience

Experience

  • Proven track record in configuring, managing, and troubleshooting enterprise storage solutions in complex data center environments
  • In-depth expertise in SAN and NAS technologies with hands-on experience using related hardware and software tools
  • Strong programming/scripting capabilities and experience implementing Infrastructure-as-Code
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Linux and Windows system administration
  • Solid understanding of modern infrastructure concepts including Public Cloud platforms, S3 storage, containerization, and virtualization solutions
  • Experience with one or more specialized systems (NetApp ONTAP, NetApp StorageGRID, Cisco MDS, Hitachi SAN, Fujitsu Eternus, or Openshift) preferred
