Job Summary

This role is for a Chemical Laboratory Technician or Chemical-Technical Assistant in Mannheim, Germany, working for a company in the chemical industry. The primary responsibilities include the collection and preparation of lubricant samples, conducting various physical and chemical analyses such as viscosity, density, and chemical composition using spectroscopic methods (e.g., infrared spectroscopy). The technician will also be responsible for evaluating wear particles to assess machine condition, ensuring quality standards are met, and meticulously documenting all analyses and results. Collaboration with other departments and clients is also expected, along with troubleshooting analysis issues. The ideal candidate will have a completed vocational training as a Chemical Laboratory Technician or CTA, possess solid experience in physical/chemical analytics, and be willing to work in a 3-shift system.
