Job Summary

This role seeks an experienced Process Engineer to manage and execute equipment changes and upgrades within a highly regulated Biotech/Pharma manufacturing environment in Bern. The core responsibilities involve ensuring compliance with GMP standards through planning, implementing, and documenting equipment modifications, performing risk and impact analyses, and executing change controls. You will also be crucial in supporting technology transfer, scale-up, and formal equipment qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ) and process validation. This position offers exposure to innovative technologies and collaboration across R&D, Manufacturing, and Validation teams. Candidates must hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, or a related field, possess 2–3 years of relevant manufacturing experience, and demonstrate mandatory fluency in both German and English for effective local and international communication.
