Job Summary

This role is for a Chemical Laboratory Technician specializing in production, joining a leading global supplier of metal and plastic closure systems for the food industry in Hannover, Germany. The successful candidate will operate and monitor plate presses for plastic sheet production, conduct various plastic tests, and apply analytical methods such as thermal analysis, melt flow analysis, and IR measurements. Key responsibilities also include performing mechanical and physical tests (e.g., hardness, oxygen permeability, surface friction) and meticulously documenting and evaluating test results. This position requires a background in plastics technology or chemical laboratory work, technical understanding of testing and production technology, and a willingness to work in a 3-shift system.
