Job Summary

This role involves the crucial planning, maintenance, and operation of medium (6 kV, 20 kV) and associated low voltage (400 V) electrical systems within the Technical University of Darmstadt's extensive building portfolio. The successful candidate will be responsible for switching authorizations, plant responsibility, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations (VDE 0105-100, accident prevention regulations). Key tasks include performing switching operations during faults and construction, inspecting and assessing construction sites, conducting regular functional checks of network protection and safety devices, and overseeing external companies. The position also requires managing emergency power generators, PV systems, and providing technical consultation for new construction and renovation projects.
