Job Summary
This role is for a Development Engineer specializing in power electronics, based in Erlangen, Germany. The successful candidate will be instrumental in developing automated series test equipment, both hardware and software, for power electronics components. Key responsibilities include evaluating test and monitoring data to optimize manufacturing processes, overseeing products throughout their lifecycle, and continuously improving measurement processes using LEAN methodologies and data analysis. The position requires a strong background in electrical engineering, particularly power electronics, with hands-on experience in measurement and circuit technology, and proficiency with LabVIEW. This is an excellent opportunity for a results-oriented and flexible engineer to contribute significantly to production success within a technology-driven environment.
Required Skills
Education
University degree in Electrical Engineering, ideally with a focus on Power Electronics; LabVIEW Certified Developer (CLD); Knowledge in statistical analysis methods (e.g., Six Sigma Green Belt)
Experience
- Several years of experience in measurement and circuit technology within power electronics
- Practical experience in current measurement up to 1000A
- Familiarity with the functionality of drive trains (control, inverter, motor)
