Job Summary

This role involves developing and optimizing protein purification processes, specifically focusing on downstream processes for enzymes and proteins like PCR enzymes and proteases. The successful candidate will utilize various cell disruption techniques, chromatography methods (Affinity, IEX, HIC, SEC), precipitation, filtration, and high-throughput methods. A key part of the role includes evaluating enzyme quality using in-process analytical methods such as activity assays, SDS-PAGE, and protein content tests. The position also requires contributing to the transfer of products to production scale, documenting all work, and assisting in troubleshooting projects.
