Job Summary
As a Building Services Technician in Facility Management, you will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of properties and technical equipment. Your daily tasks will involve conducting maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting the entire building infrastructure, with a strong focus on sustainable and resource-efficient building operations. You will be responsible for implementing and optimizing technical systems, managing projects from planning to completion, and overseeing procurement processes. This role also includes budget management, space planning, and ensuring building safety and compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate will have a background in electrical or plant mechanics, a passion for sustainable building management, and a proactive, hands-on approach to problem-solving. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an Electrician/Energy Systems Electrician, Plant Mechanic, or similar, preferably with further training as a Building Systems Technician. Fire Protection Officer certification is advantageous.
Experience
- Professional experience in a comparable position
- Knowledge of norms and laws related to building services, trade regulations, and technical building codes (or willingness to acquire them)
- Experience with sustainable building management and innovative solutions
- Experience with company-specific IT applications like pitFM CAFM software (or willingness to acquire skills)
