Job Summary

As the Team Leader for Low Voltage, you will be instrumental in managing a team of approximately 35 professionals, overseeing the planning, implementation, maintenance, and operation of low voltage power supply systems across various public transport facilities in Stuttgart. This includes above-ground and underground stations, tunnels, depots, and operational properties, ensuring compliance with BOStrab regulations. Your role involves active participation in financial planning, budget management, and coordinating schedules and priorities for urban rail projects and maintenance activities. You will also be responsible for analyzing, defining, and optimizing team processes, fostering cross-departmental collaboration, and strategically developing the team's organizational structure, qualifications, and adoption of new technologies. This position is ideal for an experienced leader with a strong background in electrical engineering and a proactive approach to operational excellence.

Required Skills

Education

University degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable qualification with relevant professional experience.

Experience

  • Several years of leadership experience
  • Comprehensive expertise in low voltage and general power supply systems
  • Knowledge of relevant laws, norms, and regulations
  • Experience in process analysis and optimization

Languages

German (Fluent)

Additional

  • Health suitability for operational personnel according to § 10 BOStrab and track work according to DA Gleis (without safety tasks for third parties). Suitability and willingness for night and weekend work, as well as on-call duty. Proof of knowledge for leadership function equivalent to SSB's internal 'perspective²' junior leadership program (or comparable). Class B driving license preferred.
