Job Summary

This role involves overseeing the handling of hazardous and special waste at the operational site, ensuring compliance with dangerous goods regulations (GGVSEB in conjunction with ADR). The specialist will manage order processing, conduct on-site sampling for clients, and organize and monitor analyses. Key responsibilities also include creating waste profiles, managing special waste transports, calculating orders, and performing invoice controls. The position requires leading hazardous waste collections in accordance with TRGS 519/520 and serving as the primary contact for all special waste-related inquiries. Required Skills

Education

Completed chemical vocational training or training as an environmental technologist. Ideally, further training as a state-certified technician with an environmental focus. Further training as a specialist according to TRGS 519 and 520 (desirable).

Experience

  • Professional experience in hazardous waste management
  • Experience with dangerous goods regulations (GGVSEB i.V.m. ADR)
  • Experience with TRGS 519 and 520 (desirable)
