Job Summary
This PhD position is ideal for a motivated candidate in Biochemistry, Biology, Chemistry, or Molecular Medicine interested in the molecular physiological and pathophysiological aspects of skeletal muscle biology. The role focuses on research into muscle dystrophies, myopathies, myasthenias, and muscle tumors (rhabdomyosarcoma). Day-to-day activities will involve applying a wide range of molecular and cell biological methods, utilizing transgenic mouse models, and conducting diagnostic analysis of patient material.
