Job Summary

As a Safety Engineer, you will actively contribute to the safety-oriented development of electrical machines and smart generators, supporting the Safety Manager in planning and implementing safety concepts. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include creating and maintaining safety-relevant project documentation, participating in systematic hazard analyses like FMEA and FTA, and technically overseeing system designs to meet safety requirements. You will also manage subcontractors regarding safety demands and ensure compliance with critical safety standards such as MIL-STD-882, STANAG, IEC 61508, and ISO 26262. This role is ideal for experienced professionals with a background in engineering, particularly in military or safety-critical environments, who possess strong analytical skills and are proficient in both German and English, offering an opportunity to contribute to high-impact mechatronic solutions.
