Job Summary

This role offers Master's graduates a unique opportunity to join the Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin) in Frankfurt am Main, focusing on resolution planning and crisis management within the financial sector. Participants will gain comprehensive insights into BaFin's role as a national resolution authority and its integration into the Single Resolution Mechanism (SRM). Required Skills

Education

Master's degree or university diploma in Economics (Banking, Finance, Accounting, Risk Management) or comparable fields with at least a "satisfactory" grade; OR fully qualified lawyer with at least a "satisfactory" grade in a state examination.

Experience

  • Professional experience (e.g., internship, legal traineeship) in a financial institution, supervisory authority, management consultancy, or auditing firm with a focus on financial services is advantageous
  • Knowledge of current financial market developments and new business models is advantageous
  • Affinity for data and interest in current technologies is advantageous
