Job Summary

This role is for an experienced Tax Advisor or Lawyer specializing in Value Added Tax (VAT) to join a multidisciplinary team in Augsburg, Germany. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive VAT advice to national and international clients, manage ongoing VAT compliance, and support during tax audits and appeals. Key responsibilities include preparing VAT opinions on complex industry-specific topics, collaborating on due diligence projects and restructurings, and assisting with the implementation of Tax CMS systems. As a mentor, you will guide less experienced colleagues and conduct internal and external seminars. If qualified as a lawyer, you will also handle legal advisory tasks, including reviewing contract clauses, managing VAT litigation, and tax criminal proceedings. This position offers direct client contact, a supportive onboarding process, and pathways for professional growth up to Senior Manager, Director, or Partner within a collaborative and interdisciplinary environment.
