Job Summary

As a Manufacturing Execution System (MES) Engineer at Bosch, you will play a crucial role in the introduction, rollout, and support of technical aspects of the MES. Your day-to-day will involve acting as a key interface between manufacturing and integration, gathering and documenting requirements from internal customers for new solutions, and coordinating with stakeholders. You will be responsible for testing newly developed solutions with various departments, documenting results, and rolling out solutions across different facilities. Additionally, you will create documentation and training materials for established solutions and processes. Before new MES updates, you will conduct extensive functional and regression tests. In operational support, you will handle first-level support requests, resolving standard issues or escalating complex cases. This role offers a deep dive into complex manufacturing contexts and extensive software application support within a leading technology company.

Required Skills

Education

Technical degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a comparable technical background

Experience

  • High interest in complex manufacturing contexts and supporting extensive software applications
  • Experience in a modern MES system landscape (R2R/SPC/FDC/RMS/DWH) is advantageous
  • Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing is advantageous
