Job Summary
This role is situated within the Socio-Professional Insertion Division (PINS) of the Directorate General for Social Cohesion (DGCS) in the Canton of Vaud. The primary mission is to manage and oversee the financing activities related to PINS partners, specifically organizations providing social insertion measures, insertion programs, and productive workshops for vulnerable populations. The Economist will be instrumental in supporting the division's overall financial follow-up and goal attainment. A key responsibility involves designing, implementing, and monitoring a new management and follow-up process for provider organizations. Furthermore, the successful candidate will propose and implement a new financing model for subsidized productive workshops. This position acts as the primary contact point for the Cantonal Financial Control (CCF), requiring excellent financial reporting, management control, and negotiation skills, coupled with a strong interest in the social domain.
Required Skills
Education
Master's degree in Economic Sciences or Management (University/HES level) or equivalent qualification
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in the field of economics or finance
- Good knowledge of the accounting and budgetary processes specific to the State of Vaud
