Join the Federal Institute of Hydrology (BfG) in Koblenz as a Research Scientist, focusing on aquatic ecology, fisheries science, or marine biology. This role, part of a project on anthropogenic noise in waterways, involves conceptualizing, developing, and implementing a hydroacoustic impact model for fish and marine mammals. You will establish threshold values from literature, build and test a measurement system with underwater speakers and hydrophones, and conduct boat and land-based hydroacoustic measurements across various federal waterways. The position requires a Master's degree or equivalent in a relevant biological field and offers the opportunity to document, present, and publish research findings nationally and internationally.
